Northrop Grumman Collaboration Project

The Northrop Grumman Collaboration Project (NGCP) is a joint technology demonstration between Cal Poly Pomona (CPP) and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo (CP SLO). We provide a great interdisciplinary experience, allowing students to apply their classroom knowledge to solve real-life challenges.

I am part of the Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) Team, working closely on designing our autonomus vehicle. I'm specifically on the Electrical Digital Hardware Team, where I'm focusing on the design and development of a Nucleo Shield

Accomplishments

• Designed and developed PCBs and schematics using Altium Designer for the vehicle's electronic systems. I was specifically in charge of the power regulation and IMU for our shield.
• Sourced and selected components to meet performance, cost, and availability requirements.
• Collaborated with mechanical, powertrain, and aerodynamics sub teams to optimize system integration and efficiency.
